Hi Elwyn,

Glad to hear you are enjoying using DS video, to answer your questions:

- Stream DIVX, AVI to Apple TV
=> not with a DS213+ because it cannot transcode these formats, only .mp4, .m4v, .mov and .mkv
Here is more information about transcoding:
http://www.synology.com/support/faq_show.php?q_id=577&lang=enu

- Enable subtitles for Apple TV
You can stream subtitles to the Apple TV if you are using the "remote mode" which is accessible from the movie info page. If you stream through Airplay (accessible in the player), subtitles won't be streamed, this is a limitation due to Apple who implement Airplay.

- Index video/tv folder from the iPhone app
=> It's not possible currently, but I'll note it as a request

- Adjust subtitles that are out of sync
=> It's not possible currently, I'd recommend you contact our support team about this issue so we can look into it:
https://myds.synology.com/support/support_form.php?lang=enu

Thanks,

Hi Jeremie,

I've recently bought the DS213+ and use DS Video a lot for streaming video content to my Apple TV (with AirPlay). I really like the app!

Are these features not supported or am I doing something wrong?

- Stream DIVX, AVI to Apple TV
- Enable subtitles for Apple TV
- Index video/tv folder from the iPhone app
- Adjust subtitles that are out of sync

If they're not supported...will they be in the next release?

Many thanks!

I have been given a unique challenge at my internship. My boss wants me to figure out a way to by-pass the Apple TV, he doesn't want to purchase it. The way he would like it configured is to have the DS112 directly connected to the HDTV. He wants to be able to control the DS using the Ipad to show customers slide shows and also surf the web.
I was hoping someone would be able to help me with my problem, or just plain tell me its not possible without the Apple TV.

Best,
Andrew
